  AutoNation Direct (10/19/07)

  Yesterday at the J.D. Power and Associates Automotive Internet Roundtable, AutoNation's eCommerce Chief (Gary Marcotte) announced AutoNation's plan to roll out "AutoNation Direct" in November. 

  AutoNation Direct essentially "puts the customer in charge," allowing the consumer to buy, trade-in, and finance a vehicle completely online. 

  To begin, I encourage you to check out one of AutoNation's Team Atlanta store websites where they are already testing it out.
