Tim Pollak and Marc Babej have an article in Forbe’s this morning trashing the idea of bringing the Smart Vehicle to the United States in 2008. This is particularly important to us as UnitedAuto Group (UAG/ranked #6,) will be the master franchisor of these vehicles. UnitedAuto Group management has told us the interest level has been incredible and they wished they had the vehicles to sell now. So the early response to the announcement sounds like it has been really positive.
