In 1994, the band R.E.M. released a hit single titled: “What’s the Frequency, Kenneth?” It’s strange how you recall certain events in your life. I still remember a kid in my philosophy class making a big deal about the song (about how good it was.) But what he failed to tell me (according to Wikipedia) was that the song was based on an attack of anchorman Dan Rather in New York City in 1986. As legend has it (via Wikipedia,) the attacker apparently thought he was from a parallel universe 200 years in the future.
