Yesterday the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 416 points (3.3%,) the biggest one day decline since the 7% drop on September 17, 2001 that occurred when the market re-opened following the terrorist attacks (a.k.a. 9/11.) An index with a broader scope, the S&P 500, was down 3.5% yesterday. And the autoretailstocks.com index fell 3.4%. Now tomorrow I am going to give you my follow up thoughts on LKQ, Sonic, as well as my thoughts about the AutoZone and O’Reilly Auto Parts results and conference calls.
