This week Thomas Weisel Partners hosted an investor conference in New York.  It provides a great opportunity for a number of the leading auto retail companies to present at a single event.

Yesterday I talked about Asbury and Lithia's presentations. 

Today, I wanted to share with you some important quotes I gleaned (via webcast) from the management teams at Penske Automtoive, Sonic and US Auto Parts. 

One thing I noticed throughout all of the presentations (both days) was the overwhelming emphasis by all the management teams on utilizing the internet better. 

If a management team is not talking (excessively) about their internet strategy.  I am starting to come to the conclusion that they might not be a great investment.
