Copart Fiscal 2007 Results (09/28/07)

You know, I don't care what business you are in.  The words Copart's President (Jayson Adair) laid out yesterday on the company's earnings conference call seemed almost textbook material for any CEO. 

His industry?  Junked vehicles that insurance companies want to get rid of. 

Who buys these vehicles? Recyclers (like LKQ) that chop up the cars and sell them for parts, and international rebuilders (who fix them up and sell the vehicles in emerging markets.) 

I think the demand will continue to grow for junked vehicles. 

Because insurance companies want to save money by using more alternative parts (like the recycled parts LKQ sells.)
