Probably the highlight of the conference came from an impromptu lunch I ended up having with a couple management members at a large buy here pay here dealer group. 

It reminded me of why I constantly need to be probing the folks operating in the industry.  Because one of the conversations we had made me quickly realize that I have been wrong about the impact rising international demand is having on buy here pay here dealers (and really anyone retailing 8+ year old vehicles.)
