Yesterday we listened to the AIADA’s conference call with Ted Craig (of Used Car News.) We didn’t find a tremendous amount of new information, but we did think Mr. Craig’s thought that more sophisticated players (franchised dealers, finance companies or people with finance backgrounds) seemed to be entering the market was interesting. Importantly, we appreciated hearing a topic brought up on the call by a participant that the present data (information) about used vehicle sales (retail demand) is sorely lacking.
